Television channel e.tv has confirmed that a crew member on the daily drama Scandal! passed away after a tragic incident that took place on set.
According to the channel, the cast and crew of the e.tv series are devastated by the death of crew member Gary Megit. Megit joined the production organisation in 2011 as a vision controller and TV broadcast specialist. passed away two days later in the hospital. He sustained the injuries on November 22, 2024, as the crew was moving a portion of the set. The crew member was hurt and transported to the hospital. He later died in the hospital on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
Stan Joseph, CEO of production business Ochre Moving Pictures, claimed the incident crushed him. The firm is in charge of producing the show. “This is a period of great sadness. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Gary’s family. We are a really close-knit team on the program, and we are devastated by what has occurred. Gary was a beloved part of the team who will live on in our hearts forever,” Joseph stated.
