Big drama alert! Pearl Mbewe, the wife of our favourite actor Sello Maake KaNcube, has dropped some serious bombshells. She has shared horrific photos, saying Sello has been abusing her and that she wants out of the marriage. Yes, the police are hunting for Sello, who has taken out a protection order against her and Lebo Keswa.
Pearl, a public relations specialist, claims Sello caused her a chronic condition and has been harassing her. She has opened several cases at the Roodepoort Police Station. In a police statement, she described a terrifying occurrence at their marital home in Dube, Soweto.
“While we were at his house, we had an argument, and he got angry and started slapping me. After that, he strangled my neck. I fell down, and he dragged me across the floor,” she said.
Their marriage has been chaotic for a long, with whispers of abuse and divorce circulating since last year. The couple, who married in 2021, appear to be splitting up. Sello recently informed TshisaLIVE that he has ended the marriage and served Pearl with a protection order, which she refused to sign.
“She took the protection order, read it, and threw it on the floor, saying she is not going to sign it. Then she told me she would ‘show me a ghost,’” Sello revealed.
But wait there’s more! Sello also published photos of his hurt hand, saying that he is the one being beaten. He claims the allegations are part of a plot to portray him as the bad guy. “I categorically dispute the charges. “It appears that this is a coordinated effort to make unfounded claims against me,” he stated.
This isn’t Sello’s first rodeo involving marital problems. The actor, noted for his roles on shows such as “Generations,” has been married twice previously. His current marriage to Pearl, despite their public lovey-dovey moments, appears to have been a rocky one behind the scenes.
