One of the most watched and highest-rated TV shows; Scandal! That airs on E.TV is welcoming a new family, the More family, which happens to be where Taps, a character played by Boikarabelo Mabuza, comes from.
In 2021, the show introduced the Kubeka family. The Kubekas were rich and lived a lavish lifestyle in their mansion, but unfortunately, each and every one of them ended up leaving the show due to some different reasons.
Well, now in 2024, we get to be introduced to the new family, the Mores, who have recently moved into the mansion that was previously owned by the Kubekas. We have already been introduced to Taps’ parents, Thalitha, a character played by Keitumetse Kasonkola, and Kgopolo, a character played by Seputla Sebogodi.
The show now introduces two new faces: Taps’ siblings, Thoriso, a character played by Kamogelo Maree, and their brother, played by Lebohang Msiza. Unlike Taps, these two are very attached to their parents, and they are actually the preferred ones, especially by their father, Kgopolo, who despises Taps.
Rising star actress Kamogelo Maree is a remarkable individual with a unique perspective on the world—navigating life with a visual impairment. This actress hasn’t let blindness stop her from chasing her dreams. The Scandal! Production team is honored to be part of her journey and to continue learning about the importance of inclusivity. They recently celebrated her casting.
Lebohang Msiza is a well-known actor who is best known for his acting roles as Nkosana on the SABC 2 drama series Lethapo, as ‘Clive’ on Mzansi Magic’s discontinued telenovela ‘The Queen’, and as ‘Junior Ngonyama’ on 1Magic’s original series ‘How to Manifest a Man’.
Kamogelo Maree has already made her debut on the August 7, 2024, episode. Lebohang Msiza’s debut date has not yet been disclosed, but surely this week. Hopefully the More family is coming up with juicy drama, which will definitely shake things up on the show.
Catch Scandal! Every Monday to Sunday at 19:30 on E.TV.
