‘Generations’ Jason and Senzo reunite in Mzansi  Magic’s new drama series ‘Code 13′

Actors Thami Mngqolo and Xolisa Xaluva, who played Senzo and Jason in SABC 1’s ‘Generations’, reunite in Mzansi Magic’s ‘Code 13’. Both of them have joined the Sunday drama series.

Xaluva, who currently stars on the E.TV soap opera Smoke and Mirrors as ‘Caesar Ngonyama’, will play the no-nonsense Jozi detective Bheki Ndlovu in Code 13.

As per a media source, Hlomla Dandala, who portrayed ‘Zweli Dikana’ on 1Magic’s The River, has taken Zolisa Xaluva’s place on Smoke & Mirrors. Dandala, who will start shooting for season two of the drama series, as ‘Ceasar Ngonyama’.

Thami Mngqolo, a former actor of Generations and Isono star, will play Dr. Pitso in the Mzansi Magic Sunday night drama, Code 13.

The Generations former actors will be together with The River’s Lunathi Mampofu (Emmah), who will portray Bheki’s romantic interest, Bongi Nkosi.

Aluve Mjali, who will portray Marcus “Mamba” Moagi, a highly talented hacker, in the upcoming series, will also star.

Primo Baloyi as Veli “Veja” Mohalanyane, Zikhona Bali as Azania, and Saint Seseli as Patrick are among the other performers.

BACKGROUND OF ‘CODE 13’

According to Mzansi Magic, Code 13 tells the tale of Bheki Ndlovu, a tough-minded investigator from Johannesburg, and is located in the gritty core of the city.

According to the publication, his personal life is important because his coworker happens to be his love interest.

He has a talent for making connections, cracking cases that are challenging, and working with a tough police squad. Bheki’s mission is to apprehend six of the most dangerous criminals in the city who broke out of a police vehicle when they were being held captive.

Can Bheki really trust his team of too-skilled and conceited law enforcement officers to apprehend this deadly group of escaped individuals? That is the key question.

The three main themes of the upcoming drama series Code 13 on Mzansi Magic are betrayal, corruption, and criminality.

The upcoming Mzansi Magic’s new drama series will premiere on Sunday, April 14 at 20:00 on channel 161.
