Some TV stars grew up within the entertainment industry; some grew up singing or featured in music videos, acting, and all that. In this article, we’ll be looking at those actors and actresses who joined the acting industry at an early age and actually grew up acting on TV. Check out the top five below:
1. Junior Singo

Junior Singo is a familiar face on South African television screens. In 2003, he played a leading role in the film Beat the Drum, and he was about 9 years old. This talented actor is known for his appearances in shows such as Zabalaza and Generations. The Legacy.

Junior is now a grown man; apparently, he’s in his late 30s. Singo has been in a relationship with the beautiful Lusanda Mtongana; they even have a beautiful daughter. The two occasionally share romantic photos on Instagram.
2. Dineo Nchabeleng

Dineo Nchabeleng is best known as a little girl, Angela Mogale, on the SABC1 soap opera Generations. Before that, she also acted in the film Beat the Drum. This 31-year-old once had a leading role in this other Mzansi Magic’s Lokshin bioskop, ‘Sofa Silahlane’ produced in 2017. Dineo also acted in Ring of Lies and Mzansi Magic’s prison drama series, Lockdown.

Dineo is all grown up now. In 2014, she had her firstborn child, a baby girl named Gabriella Bohlale. Nobody knows whether she has a boyfriend, a husband, or whether she is married. She likes to keep her private life away from the spotlight; hence, details about her are not known.
3. Given Stuurman

Given Stuurman is a South African actor best known for his role as Speedy in the SABC1 drama series Tshisa from 2006–2012. Before Tshisa, Given Stuurman stole the hearts of many South Africans as an eight-year-old when he asked for a girl’s hand in marriage in the 2003 Postbank Lobola ad.

This 28-year-old also played the role of Kgosi on Etv’s popular soap opera, Scandal. This talented actor and his girlfriend had their first child in 2020, a cute baby girl.
4. Wright Ngubeni

Wright Ngubeni used to play the character of ‘Jonathan’ in the SABC 1’s soap opera Generations back in the early 2000’s. This actor, who’s also a director and TV host, also played the role of Thula on eTV’s Rhythm City. Wright Ngubeni Age He was born on July 20, 1988, in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa. He is 35 years old as of 2023.

Wright is now a dad to a baby girl. Wright says his father named her baby girl Hlayiseka, which means blessed or be blessed. The last time I checked, he was married to Sarah Ngubeni. I don’t know if Sarah is the baby mama.
5. Siyabonga ‘Siya’ Xaba

This young actor started acting on TV when he was about 7 years old. Do you remember him in SABC 1’s educational drama series, Soul Buddyz, playing the acting role of ‘Forget’?

Siya is also known for his role as Zweli Hlatswayo in SABC 1’s political thriller television series End Game. This 24-year-old played the role of Langa in Mzansi Magic’s discontinued telenovela, Gomora. Siya’s relationship status hasn’t yet been revealed.
