The Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, Gqeberha: The Empire’s tonight (20 November 2023) episode, left fans talking and impressed after Luzuko, a character portrayed by Mbulelo Grootboom left no stone unturned at the Mxenge family meeting, as he exposed everyone’s secrets.
After he woke up from Coma, Luzuko discharged himself from the hospital and went to see his little brother,Hlumelo; a character played by Bongile Mantsai whom he last saw about 10 years ago. He then told him how he wants nothing anymore to do with his four wives.
At the family meeting, Luzuko also revealed Thulani and Anathi’s secret and how they betrayed him for having an affair that resulted in his pregnancy. Everyone was relieving whatever secrets they had, and it was quite tense in the Mxenge house. Bulelwa also exposed her sister wives, Zimkhitha and Nozuko, for kidnapping her and trying to kill her.
Thulani was also told that his wife Nonhle and brother Ntando had been seeing each other since he was gone. The only person who is still out of the loop is Nontle, because she was not there during the secret revelations meeting. Let’s hope she will discover the truth about Anathi and Thulani sooner.
Luzuko now wants nothing to do with his wives and children; he even told them that he is going to divorce all of them, and he won’t be providing for them anymore.
As a matter of fact, Luzuko is the root cause of everything that is wrong with his family. He is at the epicentre of it all and wants to turn around and blame everyone else for his failures, like he is an angel.
The episode was so interesting, but they did not show us how Zimkhitha and Nozuko escaped from the burning house since they were tied.
