Did you know that South African actor Anele Matoti and actress Pumeza Rashe Matoti are husband and wife? This couple got married ages ago, and they are even blessed with about two kids (not quite sure).
Anele Matoti is best known for his role as ‘Msimelelo’ on Mzansi Magic’s discontinued telenovela ‘Gqeberha: The Empire. Two decades ago, he played the role of ‘Taps’ in the SABC3 drama series Shado’s (2005-2006), and then from 2007 to 2010, he acted as Muzi in the e.tv drama series Shooting Stars.

Anele matriculated from Queen’s College in Queenstown in 1997 and later attended Rhodes University and City Varsity. He is originally from Cofimvaba in the Eastern Cape; he currently resides in Cape Town.
Pumeza is an award-winning actress and a Fleur De Cup nominee. She was born in Port Elizabeth in 1983. Her love and passion for performing arts started the day she went to the theatre for the first time at the age of 17. She was doing grade 12, and at the Arts Cape there was a performance of a Xhosa artwork that was in the curriculum, and all the grade 12 students were there.
